Make your partner feel special and loved by writing a letter, it is a great way to express your feelings and appreciate your partner. Though it is a kind of old school gesture it is one of the most powerful ways to express your love.
Secret Notes: Again it is similar to writing a letter but have its own charm, write beautiful messages short notes and hide the notes where you know that your partner will easily find them. It makes your beloved fall for you again and again.
Flowers: Start your day by gifting the favorite flowers to your beloved, what apart from flowers makes a day more romantic. Again it is something that easily fits in your budget.

Picnic: If you want to spend this day out with your partner then plan a surprise picnic. There must be a favorite place of your beloved in your city, plan a picnic over there just two of you. Spend some quality time with good food and lots of conversation.
Gift Voucher: Gifting a voucher to your partner is also one of affordable and romantic ideas. Give a foot massage voucher or some other deals voucher to them.
Household Chore: Help your partner in household chore; these are some small gestures that your partner will be going to love. Make your partner feel special by washing dishes, doing laundry etc.
Dinner at home: Plan an exotic dinner at home, cook for your partner. Prepare the favorite meal of your partner and surprise them with your cooking. Favorite food, some music, candles and wine comprise the whole idea.
Chocolates: Last but not the least gift idea is chocolates, as it is loved by all and helps to make a day more special and romantic. Gift them their favorite chocolate bar or you can also try some hot chocolate.
