There is nothing wrong with indulging at times and giving in to your cravings if the temptation is too overwhelming. A good meal is always enough to lift your mood and what else than creamy white sauce pasta and that too loaded with lots of herbs, veggies and cream. The combination of these ingredients made it a complete soulful delight. To give your taste buds a heavenly treat you should try this recipe of white sauce pasta. Without putting many efforts you can easily cook it and enjoy this delicacy with your loved ones.
So here in this blog, we are sharing the simplest recipe of white sauce pasta.
Pasta – 1 Cup
Water – 3 Cups
Salt to taste
Cooking Oil – ½ tsp
Butter – 1 tbsp
All-Purpose Flour (maida) – 2 tbsp
Milk – 1.5 Cups
Chilli Flakes – 1tsp
Italian Seasoning – 1 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Take 3 cups of water bring it to boil on a medium flame. When it starts boiling add 1 cup pasta, salt and few drops of cooking oil into it and bring it to boil for another 10 minutes. Apart from it, you can simply follow the instructions given on the package of pasta. Remember don’t overcook your pasta.
After that drain the excess water from pasta and keep it aside.
Heat a pan and add ½ tsp cooking oil. After that add garlic into it and cook it until it turns golden brown and further add your remaining veggies into it and sauté for few minutes. Don’t overcook the veggies and turn off the flame and transfer them to a plate. Also, you can add veggies of your choice.
Take the same pan heat 1 tbsp of butter in it. Add 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour (maida) into it. Stir continuously and cook it for a minute. Reduce low to medium flame to prevent from changing colour. Pour 1.5 cups of milk little by little in it and stir constantly. If you want you can use a whisk to avoid any lumps in your sauce. Mix it for another 2-3 minutes and check the thickness of your sauce.
Reduce flame to low and add Chilli Flakes 1 tsp, Italian Seasoning 1 tsp, Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp and Salt to taste mix well. Add Sautéed veggies and pasta to it give it a good mix and turn off the flame. Transfer it to a serving plate and if you want you can grate it with cheese and serve hot.
