Best Homemade Face Packs for Rainy Season to Keep Your Skin Fresh & Glowing

“Glowing skin isn’t about expensive products—sometimes, it’s just about listening to what your skin needs with a little love from your kitchen.”

If you’re anything like me, the rainy season is both exciting and frustrating. I absolutely love the smell of fresh rain, hot chai, and cozy evenings… but my skin? Not so much!

Monsoon weather brings humidity, excess oil, clogged pores, dullness, and sometimes even unexpected breakouts. The good news is that you don’t always need fancy skincare products to fix it. Some of the best ingredients are already sitting in your kitchen.

Today, I’m sharing a few of my favorite homemade face packs for the rainy season that are simple, affordable, and perfect for keeping your skin fresh and naturally glowing.

1. Besan & Curd Face Pack (For Oily and Combination Skin)

This has been a classic for years, and honestly, it never disappoints.

You’ll need:

* 2 teaspoons besan (gram flour)

* 1 teaspoon fresh curd

* A pinch of turmeric

Mix everything into a smooth paste and apply it for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Why it works:

Besan gently cleanses the skin, curd hydrates without making it greasy, and turmeric helps calm minor acne and gives a natural glow.

2. Multani Mitti & Rose Water Face Pack (For Oily Skin)

If your face feels sticky just an hour after washing it, this one is for you.

You’ll need:

* 2 teaspoons Multani Mitti

* Rose water as needed

Mix into a paste and leave it on until it’s almost dry. Wash off before it becomes completely hard.

Why it works:

It absorbs excess oil, tightens pores, and leaves your skin feeling refreshed without looking dull.

3. Honey & Oatmeal Face Pack (For Dry or Sensitive Skin)

Rainy weather can sometimes make sensitive skin feel irritated. This soothing face pack is a lifesaver.

You’ll need:

* 1 tablespoon oats (finely ground)

* 1 teaspoon honey

* A little milk or water

Apply for about 15 minutes and gently massage while rinsing.

Why it works:

Honey locks in moisture while oatmeal calms irritated skin and provides gentle exfoliation.

4. Tomato & Honey Face Pack (For Dull Skin)

When your skin looks tired after long humid days, this quick pack can instantly brighten it.

You’ll need:

* 2 teaspoons fresh tomato pulp

* 1 teaspoon honey

Leave it on for 10–15 minutes before washing.

Why it works:

Tomato helps brighten the complexion, while honey keeps the skin soft and hydrated.

5. Aloe Vera & Cucumber Face Pack (For Every Skin Type)

This is probably my favorite during the monsoon because it feels so cooling.

You’ll need:

* 2 tablespoons fresh aloe vera gel

* 2 tablespoons grated cucumber

Blend together and apply for 20 minutes.

Why it works:

It hydrates, soothes irritation, reduces puffiness, and leaves the skin feeling fresh without making it oily.
