Gucchi Mushroom Yakhni Recipe

Yakhni is a non-spicy and mild dish with a feast of flavours, it has a rich aroma that comes from the use of dry ginger powder, black pepper and fennel powder. Ingredients:
25 Grams Black Morel Mushroom
100 Gram Dahi
1 Black Cardamom
1 Bay Leaf
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
2 tbsp Mustard Oil
1 tbsp Fennel Powder
½ tsp Ginger Powder
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
½ tsp Turmeric
Instructions:
Wash the Gucchi carefully and then soak it in boiling water for sometime so that you can get rid of extra dirt. Drain it in a strainer and keep it aside.
In a kadhai put oil and heat it on a medium flame after that add cumin seeds, black cardamom and bay leaf.
Add Gucchi to that kadai and saute it for a minute.
On the other hand, start preparing the batter for Yakhni. Add curd in a bowl, add black pepper and fennel powder and whisk it properly. Black pepper helps to avoid curd bursting.
Now add salt, ginger powder, turmeric powder and Yakhni batter to a kadhai and stir it till it boils, cook it for 15-20 mins till the Gucchi Mushrooms are cooked properly.
Served it hot with steamed rice and enjoy.
